Share your struggles AND successes

When you’re struggling, your resilience is tested.

When you’re succeeding, your humility is revealed.

When others are struggling, your service is observed.

When others are succeeding, your pride is checked.

Here’s an interesting phenomenon:

Often times, it’s tougher for people to celebrate others’ success than it is to be there for them during times of trouble. All too often, people are happy to support others in less fortunate circumstances, but they get “cold feet” when it comes to validating others’ successes.

Success can be harder than struggle. Especially if we get to our own heads. If we hold onto our pride.

Stay resilient. Be humble in your own struggles and successes, as well as in others’. Serve without expectation. Take your “I” out of pride … and use your “eye” to envision humble success, for yourself and others, that’s founded on resilience and service.
